Our story

Born from love, built for the moments that matter.

We’re a husband-and-wife team, and just like so many other parents, we started our journey into parenthood with big dreams, full hearts and the best intentions.

Hi, we're Maddi & CalumParents of two, and the people behind BabiFable

We wanted to soak up every moment, celebrate every milestone and create a beautiful collection of memories for our children to look back on when they were older. We wanted to be the parents who filled in the baby books, recorded the little things and somehow managed to hold on to all those fleeting moments.

But life had other plans.

When our first child was born, we bought the baby book. We imagined filling its pages with stories, photographs, milestones and memories that would one day mean the world to our son.

Four years later, that book is still sitting in a drawer, waiting to be filled.

Not because those moments didn't matter. Not because we didn't care. But because we were working full-time, navigating the beautiful chaos of raising a family, and simply trying to keep up with life.

We always intended to do it all. We just didn't realise how difficult it could be to find the time.

Our second baby

Then came our second baby, and our experience of parenthood changed in ways we could never have imagined.

Our time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) brought a level of stress, fear and anxiety that is difficult to put into words.

Suddenly, the smallest details mattered more than ever. Every feed, every bottle, every stretch of sleep felt important. We found ourselves trying to remember information that was already difficult enough to process while exhausted, worried and emotionally overwhelmed.

When nursing staff changed shifts, or doctors and nurses visited us at home, the questions would come.

  • How many bottles had she had?
  • How long were her feeds?
  • How was she sleeping?
  • When had she last eaten?

We understood why those questions mattered. But trying to recall every detail when you were sleep-deprived, anxious and just doing your best to care for your baby could feel overwhelming.

We kept thinking: There has to be an easier way.

An easier way to keep track of the little things. An easier way to share important information with the people caring for our baby. An easier way to feel a little more organised when everything else felt uncertain.

The moments we wanted to keep

And alongside that practical need was something much deeper.

Having experienced how precious and fragile those early days can feel, we became acutely aware of just how much we wanted to remember. Not just the feeds and sleep schedules, but the tiny expressions, the first smiles, the new discoveries and all the little moments that make up a childhood.

We wanted to hold on to it all.

We wanted to keep track of our baby's development, celebrate milestones as they happened, and create a beautiful baby book filled with memories to share with our children one day.

But we also knew what life was really like for parents like us. We couldn't rely on finding a spare afternoon to sit down and fill in a traditional baby book. We needed something that worked around our lives, not another thing on an already overwhelming to-do list.

Where BabiFable began

That’s where BabiFable began.

We set out to create something that brought these two needs together: practical support for the everyday journey of caring for a baby, and a simple, meaningful way to preserve the memories that pass far too quickly.

A place where parents can record feeds, sleep, nappies, milestones and those precious everyday moments. Where important information can be easier to track and share with caregivers. And where the little details of a baby's life can gradually become a beautiful, personalised storybook — built along the way, with gentle prompts and inspiration to help parents capture the things they might otherwise forget.

Because we believe keeping track of your baby's care shouldn't add to your stress.

And preserving your family's memories shouldn't depend on having more hours in the day.

By parents, for parents

BabiFable is being built by parents, for parents. For the families navigating the newborn haze, the sleepless nights, the endless questions, the unexpected challenges and the overwhelming love that comes with raising a little person.

  • For the parents who want to remember everything but can't possibly write everything down.
  • For the parents who are doing their best, even when their best looks different every day.
  • And for the children who will one day open their books and discover just how deeply they were loved from the very beginning.

We can't slow down time. We can't make every day easier. But we can help you feel a little more supported along the way — and make it easier to hold on to the moments that matter most.

Little moments matter

BabiFable — caring for today, capturing forever.
